Privacy notice
We keep only what you choose to send us
This page says what this site collects and what happens to it, in plain words. It covers this website and the messages people send us.
- No cookiesand nothing that follows you from page to page or site to site
- No advertisingand no analytics; we do not count or profile visitors
- Nothing sold or sharedwhat you send us is used to reply to you, and for nothing else
What you send us
When you write to us, by email or through the form on this site, we receive what you choose to tell us: your name, your company if you give it, your message, and the email address or phone number you want the reply on.
We use it to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to do that work.
A website like this one cannot send email by itself, so what you put in the form reaches our inbox through a mail-forwarding service, FormSubmit.
The "Ask a question" box answers from text that is already written into this site, so what you type there stays on your own device. There is one exception: if the site has no answer and you choose to send your question to a person, your question and the email address you give for the reply are sent to our inbox through the same service.
The six-question fit check sends nothing anywhere. The answer is worked out on your own device and stays there.
What stays on your device
This site sets no cookies. It remembers a few things in your own browser so that it need not ask again: whether you chose the light or the dark theme, whether you asked for the softer colours and, on the risk register, the reader view you picked and whether you asked for plain words.
The "Ask a question" box keeps your conversation for as long as the tab is open, so that it is still there when you move to another page. Closing the tab clears it.
None of this is sent to us.
What other companies see
The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch them, and Google sees the address your device connects from.
This site reaches you through Cloudflare's network, which protects it and speeds it up. Cloudflare handles each request, so it sees the address your device connects from, the page that was asked for and the time.
Our own server keeps an ordinary log of each request for 14 days: the page that was asked for, the time, the page you came from and the kind of browser. It does not record the address your device connects from.
We do not sell what you send us, and we do not pass it to anyone else, except to the services named on this page that carry it to us.
How long we keep it
We keep your message for as long as we are talking with you and, if we work together, for as long as that work lasts. Ask us to delete it at any time and we will.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@aikameva.in and a person will reply within one working day.
We are based in India and handle personal information under Indian data protection law. If you think we have handled yours wrongly, tell us at the same address so that we can put it right.
The systems we build for clients
This notice is about this website. The data inside a system we build for a client belongs to that client and is handled as agreed with them: on a server in India by default, or wherever the client requires. It is not used to train anything, and it is backed up nightly. How we host and look after it
